The 2026 New Tecumseth Community Grant Program is now open for applications. All grant applications are contingent on the allocation of funding as part of the town’s budget process.
The total amount of funding available for grants will be determined annually through the budget process.
The Town’s Community Grant program is awarded under one of three categories:
· Community Fee Waiver Grant –
Funds provided to offset town-established user fees to rent space, equipment, or provide supplies. This may include, but is not limited to, space rental, signs, and equipment.
· Community and Events Grant –
To provide funding to assist organizations that provide services or events to the community, which are beneficial and not currently provided by the town. This category will support a variety of community celebrations, festivals, and special events. Funds provided in this category will include requests for initial start-up funding, as well as for equipment, materials, and supplies purchased.
· Community Arts, Culture and Tourism Grant –
Supports local not-for-profit organizations promoting activities and initiatives that enhance the cultural and artistic landscape of the community through education and participation. This category can fund the operation of significant cultural facilities that provide core services to the community.
The grant application period opened on Jan. 2, 2026.
The deadline for grant applications is the last day of February, at 4:30 p.m.
The Community Grant Program Committee will review and process applications in March and April.
