The virtual Ask an Expert series, hosted by the County of Simcoe, will feature a session on hiring global talent and the economic immigration programs business can use to meet their needs.
The information session will provide an overview of Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada’s economic immigration programs.
Employers can use the information when looking to hire and retain foreign workers from within Canada and abroad.
Employers will find out about hiring temporary foreign workers, and the permit process, learn about hiring international students and how to retain them after they graduate, and how to connect with resources to help find skilled workers faster.
The session’s speaker, Angelo Raimondo, joined Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada, in 2008 and currently works as an outreach officer in Hamilton. In his current position, he helps Canadian employers learn how Canada’s economic programs can be used to support their hiring needs and help drive economic growth.
This Ask an Expert session will take place on Thursday, October 6, from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
This is a free event but you must register to take part.
