The new Ask an Expert series, hosted by the County of Simcoe, will take a look at the predicted economic outlook for 2023.
The speaker for this webinar will be Pierre Cléroux, vice president, research and chief economist at the Business Development Bank of Canada.
This edition will provide information so you can learn how inflation, the rise of interest rates, and the resulting economic slowdown are changing the business environment.
Information will be provided for business owners to discover how entrepreneurs can forge a path forward in the current situation marked by labour shortages and global uncertainties.
The session will conclude with an opportunity for participants to ask questions.
Mr. Cléroux was appointed vice president, research and chief economist at BDC in 2012. He leads a team of experts who analyze economic data to identify business and sector trends impacting Canadian entrepreneurs and helps business owners understand the risks and opportunities presented by the economic environment.
This session is a part of the ‘Ask an Expert’ series presented by the County and several business-related parties.
This virtual ‘Ask an Expert’ webinar will take place on Monday, April 17, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. It is a free event, but registration is required.
