Assault with shotgun

On June 21 at 8:08 a.m. police were dispatched to report of a 36-year-old male dump truck driver being struck with a shotgun on the 8th Concession in Adjala Township of Simcoe County.
Preliminary investigation reveals that driver and land owner got in a dispute over how dump trucks were being driven across his property. A verbal argument ensued with the victim and the property owner allegedly fetched a shotgun, returned to the victim, and pointed the gun at him, and jabbing the gun into the victim’s groin. The victim treated for minor injury and released.
Police attended and arrested Francesco Commisso, 67, of Adjala Township for Assault with weapon, Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose, Pointing a Firearm.
