The Beer Store will support the Stevenson Memorial Hospital Foundation with an Empty Bottle Returns fundraising program.

The program will take place from July 4 to August 28, 2022, at The Beer Store in Alliston, Tottenham, and Schomberg locations.

“We are so thankful for the incredible hospitals and community organizations we have across the province of Ontario,” said Sarah Wark, District Manager, The Beer Store. “We recognize the tremendous efforts of these organizations, which had to be even further extended during the extraordinary circumstances of the past two years. At The Beer Store, we believe that we have a responsibility in our communities across the province to give back. For years, we have partnered with local charities as giving back to our communities is a part of our core business values.”

In addition, to the bottle return, The Beer Store will be accepting monetary donations at the three locations.

“When local community businesses step up to support Stevenson, it inspires me every time,” said Mary Thomas, CEO, SMHF. “The pandemic has created challenges for everyone including local business. So, it’s especially meaningful to see this kind of ongoing commitment and support. This community is truly dedicated to the ‘Because of you, we can’ campaign and ensuring exceptional health care today, tomorrow and in the years to come. Thank you to The Beer Store for your support.”

The Because of you, we can campaign is the largest campaign in the Foundation’s history and is supporting the redevelopment of Stevenson Memorial Hospital.
