If you suffer from pain or discomfort in your lower limbs, BioPed Footcare now has a clinic in Alliston to help you achieve relief from foot and leg pain.
The clinic held a grand opening on Thursday, Oct. 24, to let the public know they are now open in a convenient location on Parson Road.
“Our team of multi-disciplinary foot care clinicians provide solutions in five therapeutic areas – orthotics, compression, bracing, fitted footwear, and medical footcare,” explained Megan Evans, a Canadian Certified Pedorthist and BioPed Footcare Alliston owner and manager. “Our new full-service clinic in Allison will allow us to meet the growing demand for our services. We can’t wait to welcome our new customers and provide them with the BioPed customer experience.”
Many people experience pain in the lower limbs due to a variety of reasons. The team at BioPed can determine the problem areas and come up with a solution to help relieve that pain and let you live a more active lifestyle.
“We specialize in lower limb care – everything from the hips down,” Megan explained. “We cover everything from osteoarthritis of the hips and knees, to any condition of the foot, knee, and hips. They can come to see us for a no-charge assessment. We will take a look at a person’s history, how their feet move, the range of motion, and we will see how everything works together. We can recommend treatment from there. We could offer a better shoe, an orthotic, to a knee brace. It really depends on what we find during an assessment.”
BioPed clinics have helped alleviate foot and lower limb pain and discomfort for Canadians for more than 40 years.
The Alliston clinic is located at 29-180 Parson Road.
