Bluegrass Festival returns to Tottenham Conservation Area

April 7, 2022   ·   0 Comments

It is being called the Tottenham Bluegrass Festival 2022 Revival this year due to the fact that the Festival has not taken place for the past two years.

The Tottenham Bluegrass Festival will again fill the Conservation Area with the sound of music for three days at the waterfront stage.

The park has a natural amphitheatre that provides great seating along with great sound even if you are sitting higher up on the grass hill.

Almost 300 bands have performed on the Tottenham stage.

The Festival has been on every year since its inception in 1985, however, due to the pandemic, the music hasn’t played since 2019.

Bluegrass enthusiast come from all over North America to hear the music and see their favourite bands.

The Festival gets underway on Friday evening, and has constant music all day Saturday and Sunday.

Along with vendors, food, and a beer garden, there are special workshops over the weekend hosted by performers where the public can take part and learn some new tricks when playing their own instrument.

There is also a special stage for a youth music competition, and a chance to get the entire family on stage.

A unique aspect of the Festival is that bands play 40 minute sets. That way you can see several different bands each day and enjoy a variety of styles of Bluegrass music.

Festival organizers are still working on finalizing the line-up for this year’s event so the list of performers is not yet available.

The 2022 Tottenham Bluegrass Festival Revival will take place on June 24, 25, & 26, at the Conservation Area.
