Many people prefer buying local, and Bradbury Small Family Farm can help. The business offers farm fresh products raised locally and naturally without hormones.
Located just north of Cookstown, Bradbury Small Family Farm brings a variety of meat products to farmer’s markets around the region, including the Tottenham Artisan and Farmer’s Market.
“We raise our own pork, beef, chicken, and turkey,” explained Jeanette Bradbury, who brought a full range of meats to the Tottenham market on Sunday, August 20. “We have a huge variety of sausages and pepperettes. We do hotdogs, beef patties and beef sausages.”
Bradbury Small Family Farm sells its products in Tottenham, Innisfil, and at a store on their Cookstown farm.
Jeanette brings the meats to the market in coolers to maintain freshness, and each cooler has a small poster with a picture of the product on the front. This allows her to open just the cooler for a product a customer wants rather than repeatedly opening the same cooler.
The Bradbury Farm raises its livestock humanely in small groups on a bed of straw in secure locations with room to roam, sunlight, and fresh air. They also provide the best quality feed available.
The list of products is extensive, including regular and smoked pork, all cuts of beef, including all cuts of steak and prime rib, and whole chicken or cut chicken halves, quarters, and pieces.
A full list of delicious sausages includes breakfast, honey garlic, mild Italian, smoked, and smoked cheddar Jalapeno.
“We have 13 different kind of sausages,” Jeanette explained.
Customers appreciate the fact their products are produced locally, and they follow strict standards of raising their animals in a humane and clean environment.
The farm also produces birdseed. Many people are bird lovers and watchers and have bird feeders on their property. Bradbury Small Family Farm has a variety of birdseed mixes that attract different species.
