Brewers move into first place in NDBL Senior Division

The Bolton Brewers have moved into first place in the Senior Division of the North Dufferin Baseball League with a 10-2 record so far for the season.

The Brewers have been having a very good season, averaging almost 10 runs per game this year.

Five teams leading in the division are separated by five points making this a competitive season.

In second place, the Owen Sound Baysox are one point behind the Brewers. They have a 9-2-1 record. However, their runs average is well below the Brewers at five per game.

In third place, the Lisle Astros have 18 points and an 8-3-2 record. They are averaging just over six runs per game.

The Ivy Rangers are currently in fourth place in the division. The Rangers have a 6-3-3 record so far, recording 17 points for the season.

Defending champions, the New Lowell Knights, who won the Strother Cup in 2023, are in fifth place. The Knights have a 6-3-3 record and 15 points.

The rest of the line-up in order, are the Creemore Padres, Barrie Angels, Orillia Majors, Clarksburg Blues, Midland Mariners, and Mansfield Cubs.

The Senior division is now at the halfway mark in the 24-game regular season schedule.

Junior Division

In the NDBL Junior Division, the Creemore Padres are leading with a 10-2-1 record and 21 points.

The Mansfield Cubs are in second place with an 8-5-1 record and 15 points.

In third place, the Orillia Royals have 14 points.

They are followed by the Inisfil Cardinals, Barrie Baycats, Orangeville Bengals, and Richmond Hill Phoenix.
