The Beeton Tottenham Business Improvement Association (BTBIA) is looking for artisans, local businesses, and community groups to participate in this summer’s Canada Day celebration in Tottenham.
The BTBIA is again partnering with the Town of New Tecumseth to celebrate Canada Day at the Tottenham Conservation Area on Saturday, July 1, 2023.
Town festivities have been moved to the Conservation Area as it provides an excellent central location rather than each community trying to host their own event. The Conservation area has plenty of parking and a lot of open space for the several thousand visitors who will be at the party.
The BTBIA is extending an invitation to groups and individuals who would like to be a part of it all. It is an opportunity to promote organizations and get to know many people in the community.
The party runs from 3:30 p.m. until dusk, and the day will be capped off with fireworks putting on a big show over the Conservation Area pond.
This is a free event for visitors to the park.
If you would like to set up a booth at the Conservation Area to showcase your business, artisan skills, or community group, or if you have an idea to put on a fun game, the BTBIA would like to hear from you.
Space is limited. To register to participate, you should contact the BTBIA by the end of the day on Friday, May 19. Participating organizations require general liability insurance of $2 million, and food vendors require coverage of $5 million.
For more information on participating or ideas to help promote your business or community group, contact Susan Iacoucci at 416-951-6424 or e-mail info@btbia.ca.
