Child seriously injured after being hit by electric motorcycle in Tottenham

The Nottawasaga Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police is investigating a motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian in Tottenham.

Shortly before 8:30 p.m. on Friday, July 25, officers responded to an emergency call regarding an electric motorcycle that had struck a pedestrian on Pridham Place in Tottenham.

The pedestrian, a three-year-old child, was transported by air Ambulance to a Toronto area hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Pridham Place was closed to traffic for several hours but has since re-opened.

The OPP Traffic Incident Management Enforcement (T.I.M.E) team is assisting with the ongoing investigation and police are asking anyone with information to call Nottawasaga OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
