CONTACT Community Services hosts on-line street naming auction

September 15, 2022   ·   0 Comments

After a couple living through the COVID-19 pandemic, communities are dealing with the restructuring of workplaces.

CONTACT Community Services believes it is time for people to work through mental stress and anxiety caused by the pandemic.

They reason that leaving a legacy of hope is a good place to start for loved ones, friends, and for the community.

Many people are facing enormous pressures including job losses, mental health concerns, and health crisis. Individuals who come the doors at CONTACT may be experiencing homelessness, are about to become homeless, and are trying to obtain stable and meaningful employment.

Others are struggling with mental health or addiction issues.

This could include a senior who is feeling isolated or a family who doesn’t’ know where their next meal is coming from.

CONTACT can be a starting point to a new beginning.

For the first time in the Town of New Tecumseth’s history, the Town has granted CONTACT Community Services the opportunity to auction off the privilege of naming a street in Alliston, Tottenham and Beeton.

You can bid on-line, and when you do you will be supporting the members off your community in need and leave a family legacy that will live on forever, pay tribute to a loved one, or give an everlasting gift of love and remembrance to someone special.

Every year, CONTACT Community Services supports over 3,000 or our neighbours, friends, and family members through its services and community supports.

You can place your bid to name a street in New Tecumseth by vising on-line at

bid: mobilbid.co/url/xIeISojY or text (249) 202-2188.
