The County of Simcoe Paramedic Services food and toy drive is back for its 22nd year.
The drive supports individuals and families in need across Simcoe County.
Financial contributions can be made online at CanadaHelps.
New, unwrapped toys, non-perishable food items, and gift cards are welcome to be donated at designated drop-off locations. Please indicate the value of gift cards when dropping them off.
Over the past 21 years, the food and toy drive has made a significant impact, collecting 122,835 toys, 66,174 pounds of food, and $278,800 in monetary and gift card donations for families in need across the region.
“Today County of Simcoe Paramedic Services kicked off their annual Food and Toy Drive, a testament to the enduring generosity of our community,” said Simcoe County Warden Basil Clarke. “This initiative not only brings joy to those in need during the holiday season, but it also showcases the giving spirit of our residents, businesses and organizations. I encourage all residents to help spread kindness and generosity this holiday season as together, we can make a significant difference in the lives of our neighbours.”
