Easter Egg Hunt fun for the whole family at Drysdale’s

April 21, 2022   ·   0 Comments

Drysdale’s hosted its Annual Easter Egg Hunt over the Easter weekend (April 15–17, 2022) from its Tree Farm in Egbert.

The event included an egg hunt, magic show, visit with the Easter Bunny, and refreshments for purchase, and was open to kids of all ages.

Once again, Drysdale’s accepted non-perishable food donations for distribution to local food banks, and everyone left with a treat bag of their own.

Registration for the event took place through the farm’s website and the Evergreen Store located on site. In all, three egg hunts took place each day, with children of various ages searching for eggs specifically coloured for their age group – and including one “Golden Egg”, for a chance to win a KOOL FM Family Prize Pack.

Participants were treated to train and wagon rides, live shows: the Pick Pocket Magician and Zoo Tek, an educational interactive exotic animal experience, and lots of space to take selfies for Facebook and Instagram.

Now that the annual Easter Egg Hunt is complete, the Evergreen Store will remain open for spring garden and home décor ideas and the Farm’s full-service landscape nursery will open in early May – with a wide selection of mature trees for sale.

Coming up this year, Drysdale’s will host a Halloween & Harvest Village beginning October 8, 2022, and its Christmas & Holiday Village, later this winter.

Dates for the 2023 Easter Egg Hunt (April 7–9, 2023) have already been posted on the website.
