If you are interested in electric vehicles and would like to learn more, the County of Simcoe is once again partnering with regional experts to bring the Electric Vehicle Show back to the region.

Local residents and interested partners are invited to explore the benefits of transitioning to electric vehicles.

Experienced EV owners and businesses will be at the show to share insights and showcase their electric vehicles.

Persons attending will have the opportunity to explore a range of electric vehicles and learn from knowledgeable regional experts.

Supported by Plug’n Drive and the EVE Society of Barrie Orillia chapter, the event will also feature Plug’n Drive’s test-drive program.

This will offer participants a firsthand look at the experience of driving an electric vehicle.

Plug’n Drive is a non-profit organization committed to accelerating the adoption of electric vehicles in order to maximize their environmental and economic benefits. Since 2011, Plug’n Drive has established itself as a Canadian leader in the electric vehicle industry, a trusted and unbiased source of information about electric cars, charging stations and the electricity sector.

The EV Society is a not-for-profit organization comprised of electric vehicle owners and enthusiasts who advocate for electric mobility. EV Society was founded in 1994, when all electric cars were hand-crafted one-off conversions. Now we help to increase EV adoption through education, advocacy, meetings, events and partnerships.

The Electric Vehicle Show will take place on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., at the County of Simcoe Administration Centre parking lot, at 1110 Highway 26, Midhurst.

This is a free event and does not require pre-registration.
