Enjoy free skating during the holiday season

One of those all-Canadian winter pleasures is strapping on a pair of skates and spending an afternoon gliding across the ice.
You can enjoy free skating at local arenas during the holiday season, courtesy of New Tecumseth Mayor Richard Norcross and council.
There are three free skates planned over the next several weeks, so gather your family and friends and have some fun on the ice.
The first one takes place on Tuesday, Dec. 23, from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. New Tecumseth Recreation Centre
The second skate takes place at the Beeton Memorial Arena, Tuesday, Dec. 30, from 2:20 p.m. to 4 p.m.
The third free skate occurs at the Tottenham Community & Fitness Centre on Friday, Jan. 2, from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
