If you’re a soccer fan, you will soon have an opportunity to see some world-class players.
The Town of New Tecumseth is hosting an exclusive registration-only Team Panama Community Training Session in partnership with FIFA, Simcoe County, and the Nottawasaga Resort & Conference Centre.
“This is a truly unique opportunity that few communities will experience,” said Mayor Richard Norcross. “We’re excited to have New Tecumseth be a part of this historic FIFA moment.”
The Nottawasaga Resort has been selected as Team Panama’s training camp site during the World Cup.
The resort recently re-sodded its soccer field to meet stringent FIFA standards for practice on the pitch.
This once-in-a-lifetime event gives residents front-row access to watch Team Panama train ahead of their opening match on Thursday, June 11, 2026. In addition, there are chances to win fun FIFA-themed prizes.
Registration opens on June 2 at 12 p.m. sharp.
This opportunity is available only to New Tecumseth residents, and capacity is limited.
Registrants must have an Xplor Registration Software account set up in advance to register for a ticket.
Client Services staff are happy to set up your account if this is your first time registering online.
