If you have considered a job in the trades, there is an opportunity to learn about rewarding career opportunities at the Simcoe County Skilled Trades Fair, taking place today (April 23), at Georgian College’s Midland Campus.
The community-focused event is free and open to the public.
The Skilled Trades Fair highlights career opportunities across construction, manufacturing, transportation, electrical, and industrial sectors.
This interactive event is designed for job seekers, career changers, parents, and anyone curious about skilled trades pathways.
Attendees will have the opportunity to connect directly with employers, training organizations, and industry professionals working in high-demand trades.
There will be the opportunity to sit in on live discussions exploring pathways into the skilled trades, including a live podcast hosted by SM Skillforce featuring interviews with industry experts on apprenticeship and certification in Ontario. There will be a discussion with employers about what they look for when hiring and candid conversations with skilled trades professionals who will share their career experiences and insights.
The Simcoe County Skilled Trades Fair will take place at the Georgian College Midland Campus, 649 Prospect Blvd., in Midland on April 23 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
