Family Fishing Derby

Thank you to everyone who came out to support the Tottenham Community Week free Family Fishing Derby, sponsored by Trillium Ford Lincoln Ltd. and KDell Electrical Inc, on June 8 at the Tottenham Conservation Area.
“We sincerely appreciate the support from the Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters through its TackleShare program. This event drew an amazing group of people, including first time anglers, who caught a plentitude of Sun Fish, Perch, Large Mouth Bass, Rock Bass and Cat Fish,” said Wendy Gabrek, fishing derby organizer and Marketing Manger at Trillium Ford Lincoln.
Gabrek also offered thanks to the many Tottenham Community Week volunteers for their time, and to the Town of New Tecumseth for its support. Everyone who took part left with a participation ribbon, and 12 trophies were awarded for the largest Sun Fish, Bass, and Perch, as well as Most Sportsman Like, Kinda Fishy and Judges Choice.
