Faris Team donates $7,700 to Stevenson Memorial Hospital Foundation

The Faris Team Real Estate will be joining the Stevenson Memorial Hospital Foundation Realtor Challenge for 2023.

In 2022, the Faris Team took the lead in the Realtor Challenge Program for the second consecutive year.

They succeeded and contributed a gift of $7,700 to the “Because of You, We Can” Campaign.

This year the Faris Team is committed to donating $100 from each home bought or sold by the Faris Team in Alliston and surrounding areas to Stevenson Memorial Hospital Foundation to support its “greatest needs.”

The Faris Team also challenges and encourages fellow community realtors to commit similarly.

This challenge has inspired many other realtors from various brokerages over the past few years to participate in this unique philanthropic adventure to support local healthcare in the community.

“Like all Ontario hospitals, we depend on donations from people within the communities we serve to help purchase or upgrade equipment to help provide high-quality healthcare close to home,” said Mary Thomas, CEO of Stevenson Memorial Hospital Foundation. “We thank the Faris Team for their generous support over the years. Giving to our ‘greatest needs,’ a gift without conditions on how the donation may be used, allows us the flexibility to invest where it is needed most to make an impact on patients, families, and medical staff while continuing to improve community healthcare.”

The funds are used to provide equipment and supplies needed at the hospital as determined by staff to help them do their job properly.
