Although the Jolly Man in Red has a lot to do in December, he took time out of his busy schedule to drop by The Gibson Centre this past Saturday, meeting with children from a safe distance and hearing their Christmas requests.
Booked into time slots from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., local children attended The Gibson to draft letters to Santa, have a treat in the Gibson Café and take holiday pictures with their families at the curated selfie-stations.
Santa, dressed in his finest Victorian garb, listened to the children and took their Christmas wishes to heart, crossing them off the Naughty or Nice list as he went.
Santa and his reindeer left The Gibson Centre from the roof of the historical building, taking flight back to the North Pole to begin final preparations for the holidays.
