On Thursday, June 23, the Gibson Centre for Arts & Culture hosted its 13th annual Limited Edition Taste of the Town premiere event in New Tecumseth.

With only 50 seats available at $125 each, guests were treated to an exclusive 7–course seated meal complete with cocktails and wine pairings, as prepared by local eateries, including: Table for Two, Di Grazia Ristorante, Taquiero El Norte, Williams, Beattie’s Distillery, Peller Estate Winery, Mrs. Mitchells, Maple Grove Farms, Spring Basil, and Sheldon Creek,

A fundraiser for local arts and cultural programs, Taste of the Town ticket holders were entered into a draw to win over $3500 in gift certificates to local eateries, caterers, distilleries and markets. And the winners are:

First Prize – Dora Dolinar

Second Prize – Michelle Lafiette

Third Prize – Martin Normandear

“I couldn’t be more pleased shown by the community, local restaurants and volunteers – all of whom contributed to the success of the event. We are poised for a full return of Taste of the Town [in] 2023,” said Jennifer Fortin, Gibson Centre Executive Director

The next event is the 14th Annual Gibson Centre Charity Golf Tournament, to be held on Wednesday, August 17 at Bear Creek Golf Club.

Tickets are $180 (including lunch, cart and a shotgun start at 9 a.m.) and are available for purchase at the Gibson Centre box office. And later that evening in the Honda Performance Hall ‘One Night with Elvis!’ – featuring Gordon Hendricks, a world leading Elvis tribute champion – is taking place at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $60 each and available via the Gibson’s online ticket agent through the website.
