Grandmothers Embrace of South Simcoe will hold its annual sale in Alliston, offering the public the chance to find great deals.
The popular sale features gently used jewellery, purses, and scarves.
Grandmothers Embrace will donate proceeds of the sale to the Stephen Lewis Foundation.
The Foundation supports grandmothers in Africa, their grandchildren, and others. There are many grandmothers in Africa who are raising their grandchildren who have become orphans due to the HIV and AIDS pandemic on that continent.
New this year, the sale is accepting both cash and debit.
The Grandmothers Embrace of South Simcoe annual sale will take place on Saturday, Nov. 8, at St. John’s United Church in Alliston.
The sale will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
