The Gallery at the Gibson, located on the main floor of the Gibson Centre for Arts & Culture in Alliston, is now displaying its fall exhibition – Harvest of Colour.

With a focus on fall colours, the exhibit features artwork by “Artists at the Gibson”, including: Greg Hindle, Artist in Residence, who was instrumental in the Centre’s acquisition; Susan Hindle, Gallery Committee member and director on the Board of Directors; and Joan Warren, president of the Artists at the Gibson, also head of membership.

The exhibit opened on Saturday, September 18, with a Meet the Artists and Opening Reception.

Nearly 20 artists are taking part in the exhibit with over 40 paintings on display. Mediums range from oil on canvas to watercolour on paper. The art is for sale, with prices starting at $150.

Due to COVID–19 restrictions, Gallery attendance is limited to 50 per cent capacity. Exhibit hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday to Friday until October 26.

Admission to the gallery is always free, although private functions may reduce visiting hours. It is recommended that visitors confirm the schedule by phoning Gibson Centre in advance to ensure availability at 705-435-2828.
