Herbert’s Boots pledges $50,000 to support local hospital’s campaign

Herbert’s Boots in Alliston has announced a pledge to donate $50,000 to the Stevenson Memorial Hospital Foundation’s Because of You Campaign to help fund the renovation and expansion of Stevenson Memorial Hospital.

Since opening its first location in Alliston in 1958, Herbert’s Boots has worked to offer high-quality footwear and apparel, excellent customer service, and fair prices. The family-owned retailer has been an active member of the community, and this year decided to focus their contributions on supporting the vital work of Stevenson Memorial Hospital and its ongoing efforts to improve healthcare infrastructure and services.

“We think it’s important to support our local hospital, and we’re happy to see Stevenson Memorial expanding to meet the needs of our growing community,” said Dieter Elsner, owner of Herbert’s Boots. “It is a service that we all use and need, and we’re grateful to be in a position to contribute where we can.”

The $50,000 donation supports Stevenson Memorial Hospital Foundation’s ambitious Because of You Campaign, which aims to raise $80 million to enhance healthcare services in our community.

Frank Cerisano, CEO of Stevenson Memorial Hospital Foundation, expressed his gratitude for Herbert’s Boots’ generous support.
