Hillcrest Park in Alliston will be getting a facelift.
Parks staff will be removing the existing playground equipment at the park in preparation for an upcoming playground replacement.
Playground equipment is typically rated for a set period. When that time period expires, the equipment is replaced to keep the facility safe.
Hillcrest Park playground replacement is scheduled for December 2026.
Nearby residents may notice activity in the park as existing equipment is removed and the site is prepared for the new equipment.
The Town of New Tecumseth asks nearby residents to be patient and understanding as this work is completed.
