The Alliston Hornets honoured five players who graduated at the end of the 2021 season during a ceremony held prior to Friday night’s home game against the Caldeon Golden Hawks at the New Tecumseth Recreation Centre.
The players got the short shift in their final season on ice when the league was reduced to a series of highly restricted exhibition games in 2020/21, but each of the players put in a significant contribution to the team during their time with the squad.
The 2021 season did not record statistics.
Forward Jordan Taylor played one full season with the Hornets in 2019/2020. He played in a total of 37 games, scoring 29 goals and getting 14 assists for a total of 56 points.
Keegan Gillis-McAnulty played two seasons with the Hornets. As a forward, he played a total of 109 games. He scored 47 goals in those games and was credited with 37 assists.
Goalie Adam Scott played two seasons as a member of the Hornets line-up.
Over the two seasons, he was in net for 53 games.
Forward Didier Koenigs was a member of the team for three seasons.
Didier played a total of 157 games over the three seasons scoring 29 goals and getting 38 assists.
Forward Evan Spencer spent a single season with the squad playing a total of 53 games and notching 14 goals and 40 assists for the year.
