Timo Italian Grille opened its doors last Thursday at 11 Mill Street East Tottenham, with a grand opening celebration and dignitary-studded ribbon cutting.
Owned by Maurizio and Rosanna Prestanizzi, Timo now occupies the space once held by Man of Yorke Pub, and has been beautifully redecorated into a modern Italian eatery.
Although the decor is black and white, the menu is full of life and colour, like the people who spent tireless hours creating it. Thankfully, Timo will be serving lunch and dinner, seven days a week, offering authentic and contemporary Italian cuisine as well as an extensive wine list in their beautiful space, complete with back patio.
“Indulge your senses in our European Italian design as our chef serenades you with a tantalizing offering of authentic and contemporary Italian classics, presenting a range of meals to suit every taste and craving,” said Maurizio. “Our unique menu brings to your table fresh pastas, classic Italian entrées, seafood, and thin crust pizzas.
Whether you’re planning an intimate evening for two, a night out with the family, or celebrating a special occasion with business associates, we’ll ensure it’s an evening to remember.”
Hours are Monday to Friday, noon to 3 p.m. and 5 – 10 p.m.; Saturday 5 – 10 p.m. and Sunday, noon – 9 p.m.
Pricing at Timo is very reasonable, with starters such as Traditional Plum Tomato Bruschetta selling for $7; warm pesto laced bread with tomatoes, fresh basil, red and green onions, garlic and EVOO, for $9; Nonna’s Meatballs, served in a tomato and basil sauce for $12.
On the entrée menu, dishes such as Gnocchi Pomodoro, Fettuccine alla Penna, Tiger Shrimp and Scallop Risotto, Assorted Seafood Linguine, Veal Piccata, Atlantic Salmon Fillet, and Striploin Tagliata will fill your belly without intimidating your bank account.
Hailing from Woodbridge, Timo owners currently own and operate a second restaurant that meets rave reviews. The Prestanizzi’s hope to make their Tottenham location your new favorite place to dine.
“A massive thank you to everyone who came and supported TIMO during their Friends & Family Grand Opening event, they couldn’t be more thankful,” said the Prestanizzi’s son, Anthony. “May they not forget to thank the Mayor of New Tecumseth for his support and welcoming us into the town of Tottenham by cutting their ribbon to make the Grand Opening official!”
