Jebb enters mayoral race as candidate list grows

The Municipal election is still five months away, but the list of candidates continues to grow as people register for the upcoming vote.
Ward 5 Councillor Donna Jebb has tossed her hat in the ring as a candidate for mayor, along with current Deputy Mayor Richard Norcross.
New Tecumseth municipal positions include Mayor, Deputy Mayor, and eight Councillors representing eight wards.
Nominations for municipal elections can be submitted through to August 18.
Potential candidates must have 25 signatures on the nomination form and pay a fee when submitting that form.
Currently the list of candidates include:

Stephanie MacLennan – currently Councilor Ward 6
