Kawigga: Your dog will love a visit to this store

If you are a dog owner, you know your canine will go a little crazy when they get a new bone or enjoy other meat-related products.

Kawigga Pet Products near Tottenham specializes in providing all-natural animal products for your pets.

They brought their products to the Tottenham Vendor and Farmer’s market and were a big hit for both pet owners, and the pets themselves.

Kawigga was started in 2011 focusing on top-quality, natural treats and chews to keep four-legged friends happy, healthy and busy.

Desiree Dieckmann brought Kawigga products to the Market on Sunday, Aug. 25, and there were a lot of dog noses twitching when they picked up on the scent of what to them, is a special treat.

“These are all natural single ingredient products,” Desiree explained. “There’s no preservatives or additives. We’ve got salmon skins, different kinds of jerkies. We have venison, duck, and sweet potatoes. We try to stay all natural. There’s pig’s ears, horns, hoofs, goose, just about everything.”

All products are sourced, then brought to Tottenham, cut to proper proportions if necessary, they dehydrated to make it a suitable product for the dog’s home.

“Some of it goes into a smoker first, and other products are just dehydrated,” Desiree explained of the process to make the products available for market. “There’s cow, chicken, and pork. All these chew sticks and bones act as a dental cleaner – it cleans their teeth as they’re chewing.”

There are also some vegetable sticks available.

Kawigga products are offered at many vendor’s markets and canine events around the region and can also be ordered and picked up a the store near Tottenham.
