The Knights of Columbus held their 56th annual Free Throw District Championships at Holy Family School in Alliston on Saturday, Feb. 14.

Competitors previously won free-throw competitions at the local level to qualify for the championship.

Michael Murad, 17, from St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic High School in Tottenham, scored the highest free-throw percentage in the competition. He sank 21 of 25 free throws from the line for an 84 per cent success rate.
