The County of Simcoe invites those interested in making a difference in the lives of older adults to check out one of the “Bring a Friend to Volunteer Days,” taking place at local long-term care homes.

This will allow residents to learn more about a fun and meaningful volunteer experience.

The event highlights various activities, such as the Cycling Without Age Program, Aqua Painting, Word Games, Musical Programs and Friendly Visits.

It’s a chance for friends to volunteer together, try different activities, and discover the rewarding feeling of giving back.

The goal is to inspire more people to get involved and support County and other regional programs.

Interested residents are asked to RSVP to Alix Coutts, volunteer and secondary student supervisor at alix.coutts@simcoe.ca or by phone at 705-790-3915.
