The annual Mayor’s Charity Rodeo will take place this weekend, September 7–8, at the Alliston Memorial Arena, 49 Nelson Street West.
This family-friendly event features the Case IH Ultimate Rodeo Tour 2019 group, with a full-scale western rodeo featuring all events as seen on TV, or at the Calgary Stampede, including steer wrestling, roping, bareback and saddle bronc riding, and the world’s most dangerous sport, bull riding – live.
Schedule of events:
Saturday September 7
• 12:30 p.m. – Gates Open
• 2 p.m. – RAM Rodeo Performance with Barrel Racing, Bronc Riding, Bull Riding & the Canadian Cowgirls Precision Drill Team
• 5 p.m. – RAM Rodeo slack performance
Sunday, September 8
• 12:30 p.m. – Gates Open
• 2 p.m. – RAM Rodeo Performance with Barrel Racing, Bronc Riding, Bull Riding & the Canadian Cowgirls Precision Drill Team
Tickets are:
• One day passes: Adults $15/Youth (13-17 years) $10/Kids free
• Weekend Passes (entry into all rodeo performances plus entry into Saturday slack performance): Adults $25/ Youth (12-17 years) $15/ Kids free

Proceeds from the event will go towards the Town of New Tecumseth’s Links for Learning scholarship initiative, a programme used to provide financial assistance to qualifying New Tecumseth students to pursue post secondary education opportunities.
