The Tottenham Beeton District Minor Softball Association officially kicked off preparations for the 2026 softball season with a coaches meeting held on Thursday, May 7, at the Tottenham Legion.
Around 60 coaches, volunteers, board members, and community partners gathered to review key information ahead of the upcoming season, helping ensure a positive experience for all athletes participating in the Trailblazers program.
The evening’s agenda included discussion on league schedules, practice planning, equipment distribution, uniforms, and game operations.
Also discussed were opening weekend activities, year-end tournaments, coaching expectations, player safety, and league policies.
Coaches received updated resources, including rules of play, score books, contact information and important season timelines.
The Association was pleased to welcome guest speakers from New Tec Baseball,, along with Ryan Shea from South Simcoe Physiotherapy, who shared valuable insights with coaches as they prepare for the upcoming season.
Throughout the evening, division conveners and board members worked directly with coaches to review practice schedules, player communication expectations, code of conduct standards, umpire procedures, rain-out policies, and overall league operations.
With the opening weekend approaching in early June, excitement continues to build for another successful Trailblazers season.
