Missing person in Alliston located deceased in Boyne River

Members of the Nottawasaga Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police have concluded their search for a missing 30-year-old male last seen in Alliston in July.
Police initially requested public assistance in locating a missing Alliston resident on July 30.
The man’s family and police were concerned for his health and well-being. He was last seen on Tuesday, July 14, at approximately 6 p.m. on Victoria Street in Alliston.
On Saturday, Aug. 15, officers conducting foot patrols in the area of King Street and the Boyne River discovered a deceased person.
It was later determined the body was that of the missing person.
Foul play is not suspected, and no further details will be released, said police.
