The Gibson Centre Arts & Cultural Centre is a hidden jewel in New Tecumseth.

Here at The Gibson Centre, we offer a variety of artistic and cultural experiences.

As our community grows, we continue to increase and provide diverse programming that reflects our residents. From live musical performances, to the Gibson School of the arts, and to fun, themed fundraisers, something is always happening for people of all ages and abilities.

Our Artist-in-Residence, Greg Hindle is a well-known artist sharing his 30 years teaching experience. Greg is on hand to offer one-on-one professional guidance for artists at all skill levels from his studio on the main floor of the centre.

TheArtists at the Gibson is a membership group providing two different painting opportunities in the beautiful, bright Holmstrom Hall on the second floor. Tuesday studio painters have as a mentor, Greg Hindle.

Greg provides guidance to the artists wishing to develop their skills. The Wednesday studio painters enjoy painting on their own with support from other group members. Visitors and new members are always welcome.

A wonderful season is in place for the Gallery at Gibson – The exhibitions showcase multi-media works by renowned artists and local residents alike. Gallery applications are aways welcomed.

The Gibson Centre of Arts and Culture Centre is housed in a historical building lovingly restored to provide artistic opportunities for the residents of New Tecumseth’s and beyond.
