We started off hosting “Cycle for Sight,” an annual fundraiser for the vision impaired. Over 190 registered riders came from all across the province, raising more than $300,000 for a worthy cause.

Our annual fundraiser, Taste of Town, was held on June 8, where diners were treated to a multi-course plated dinner prepared by local eateries and caterers, including specialty cocktails and Ontario wines.

The newly added Pub Style Taste of the Town event was a casual pub night with live music, lots of delicious pub fare, and local craft beer to whet their whistle! Congratulations to our Taste of the Town Raffle winners, who received $3,000 in gift cards from the restaurants that provided all the delectable food! 100 per cent of the proceeds went to supporting arts and culture in our community.

Big thanks to everyone for your support.

The Gibson School of the Arts held its year-end Gala showcasing their artistic accomplishments. These future artists, actors, chefs and musicians are honing their skills as they perfect their craft.

This year we expanded our programming to include Teen and Tots classes. Theatre Tots and Teen Improv were great successes. It’s never too early or too late to discover your artistic expression!

The Gibson Centre provides creative opportunities for all artists to learn and grow in a safe, happy and encouraging environment.
