The Simcoe County Museum is introducing a program for youth where kids ages 9 to 13 can explore the colourful world of textiles.

“Museum Makers – Sew What?” is a Saturday morning program that encourages kids to let their creative side run wild.

Kids will learn how to sew, stitch, and design a one-of-a-kind project.

They can use fabric, choose colours, and craft a project that is totally their own design.

From experimenting with colours and textures to putting their new skills to work with personal flair, kids can let their imagination shine as they bring their ideas to life – thread by thread.

The “Museum Makers – Sew What?” program will take place on three Saturdays in April: April 11, 18, and 25, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

The cost is $45 ($36 for members) for all three weeks. Spaces are limited, so register early.
