The Simcoe County Museum has announced the return of the Simcoe County Quilt, Rug & Artisan Fair.
This is the return of the Fair after being on hold since 2019.
The Fair provides a fun and interesting experience for those who are just curious, those just beginning in the art form, or veterans who have been making crafts for years.
Local artisans’ guilds will display their handicrafts and demonstrate traditional crafts like embroidery, quilting, spinning, weaving, rug hooking, and lace-making.
The merchant’s market will feature vendors with many one-of-a-kind products created by local artisans.
While at the Fair, you can learn about the museum and examine the fascinating collection of heritage buildings from across Simcoe County.
The Simcoe County Quilt, Rug & Artisan Fair will take place on September 16 to 18, from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., on Friday and Saturday, and from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday.
Price of admission is: Adults $8.00, youth and seniors $6.00, children $5.00, pre-schoolers and museum members – free.
The Simcoe Country Museum is located 1151 Highway 26, in Minesing.
