The Owen Sound Baysox finished in first place in the senior division of the North Dufferin Baseball League after taking over the top spot last week.
The Baysox were on a nine-game winning streak before taking a loss to the Ivy Rangers on July 15.
They have since won three in a row and now have a 17-5 record.
Owen Sound knocked the New Lowell Knights down a notch in the standings. The Knights had been leading since the start of the season.
New Lowell is having a strong showing this season and currently has a 15-4-2 record. With 32 points, they are just two points behind Owen Sound
In the number three spot, the Ivy Rangers are doing well with a 15-6-1 record and 31 points.
The Orillia Majors are tied for third place with a 15-6-1 record and 31 points.
In fourth place, the Barrie Angels have won 13 games after 22 times on the diamond.
With the regular season now complete, the senior division will go into the playoffs with the top eight teams making the cut.
The Owen Sound Baysox will be up against the Midland Mariners in the first round.
The second-place New Lowell Knights will meet the Caledon Cardinals.
The Ivy Rangers will face the Bolton Brewers.
The Orillia Majors will be up against the Barrie Angels in their first round match-up.
Teams that failed to make the playoffs this year include the Lisle Astros, Creemore Padres, Clarksburg Blues, and the Mansfield Cubs.
A schedule for the playoffs has not yet been announced.
