New Tecumseth man charged with trafficking cocaine, Psilocybin

The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Nottawasaga Detachment, through the diligent efforts of its Community Street Crime Unit, has successfully investigated drug trafficking activities within the Town of Alliston.

During the investigation, a search warrant was executed on December 8, 2023, with the valuable assistance of the Caledon Community Street Crime Unit. This joint effort led to the apprehension of the accused and the seizure of evidence relevant to the case: 57.5 grams of cocaine, 6.7 grams of Psilocybin, $1650.00 Canadian Currency, and a digital scale.

The collaborative operation resulted in the arrest of a 26-year-old resident of New Tecumseth, Jesse PEHLEMANN. The accused was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court in the new year to face charges related to the investigation, including:

Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine

Possession of Property Obtained by Crime – Under $5,000

Possession of a Schedule III Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking
