The Town of New Tecumseth is once again offering its annual Toys for Tickets program.
From Monday, Nov. 28 to Friday, Dec. 2, only, the Town of New Tecumseth is accepting toys or gift certificates as payment for your parking ticket. Purchase a toy and bring it in its original packaging along with the receipt to the Administration Centre that is of equal or greater value of the parking ticket.
Parking tickets issued from Nov. 17, 2016 up to and including those issued on Dec. 1, 2016 (Note: Accessible parking space violations are not applicable) are eligible to be redeemed during the week-long campaign at The Town of New Tecumseth Administration Centre, 10 Wellington St. E., Alliston between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
In 2015, the Toys for Tickets program had 20 parking tickets that were paid with 39 toys and five gift certificates valued at more than $700. Toys collected throughout the Toys for Tickets campaign will be distributed to youth in our community through the local Lions Clubs Christmas Hamper program as well as My Sister’s Place.
