Nottawasaga Conservation Authority announces upcoming events

The Nottawasaga Conservation Authority has some exciting events coming up in the fall that you can be a part of.
Held around the region, the public is encouraged to come out and get some new plants as well as enjoy festivals hosted by the NVCA.
TD Tree Days
Thanks to funding from the TD Tree Days program, the Stewardship Team will be hosting potted stock plantings twice this month and once in October.
- Date: September 7, 2024. Location: 80 Crompton Drive, City of Barrie.
- Date: September 21, 2024. Location: Whitetail Refuge Nature Reserve, 754415 Mono Centre Road, Mono Centre.
- Date: October 19, 2024. Location: Ganaraska Trail, 2186 S Nottawasaga Concession 6, Creemore, ON, L0M 1G.
Festival at Fort Willow
Experience Simcoe as it was in the 1800s at the Historic Fort Willow Conservation Area on Oct. 5.
- Location: Historic Fort Willow Conservation Area, 2714 Grenfel Road, Springwater Township.
