Nottawasaga Foundation completes $1 million pledge to Stevenson Memorial Hospital Foundation

The Nottawasaga Foundation has reached a significant milestone in its longstanding support of Stevenson Memorial Hospital Foundation by completing its $1 million pledge for the hospital’s redevelopment campaign.
The final $100,000 contribution brings the Nottawasaga Foundation’s total commitment to $1 million since the pledge was established in 2017 to mark the organization’s 25th anniversary.
Through this longstanding partnership, the Nottawasaga Foundation and the Biffis Family have played an important role in supporting healthcare in the community and helping Stevenson Memorial Hospital prepare for the future.
“We are excited to be celebrating the completion of our $1 million commitment to Stevenson Memorial Hospital,” said Sylvia Biffis, director of sales at the Nottawasaga Resort and chair of the redevelopment campaign. “As a family, we have seen firsthand how important Stevenson is to this community, and we believe strongly in building a hospital that will be here to serve generations to come. It has been incredibly rewarding to be part of the Because of You campaign and to see the community come together to make this redevelopment a reality.”
The Nottawasaga Foundation’s support has helped advance healthcare in the community over the years, including contributions toward innovative services such as dialysis, digital mammography and enhancements to obstetrics care.

With construction now underway, the future of Stevenson Memorial Hospital is taking shape, made possible by the generosity of donors like the Nottawasaga Foundation and the broader community.
