Nottawasaga OPP seeking witnesses following auto collision

Officers from the Nottawasaga Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police are investigating a motor vehicle collision that occurred on County Road 10 in Essa.
At approximately 3:45 p.m. on May 26, officers were dispatched to a motor collision involving two vehicles on County Road 10 south of Murphy Road.
One driver was transported to a local area hospital with serious injuries and later airlifted to a trauma centre.
County Road 10 between the 10th Side Road and County Road 21 remained closed for several hours while members of the Nottawasaga OPP conducted a thorough investigation. The road was reopened shortly after 10 p.m.
The investigation is ongoing and officers are requesting anyone who may have witnessed the collision or may have dash camera footage of the area during that time to contact the Nottawasaga OPP at 1-888-310-1222 and reference report number E250669372.
