Nottawasaga OPP arrested and charged a woman after an incident at a Tottenham public school.
On Monday, Mar. 20, Nottawasaga OPP were contacted about a potentially impaired driver operating a motor vehicle in a Tottenham school parking lot after students had been let out for the day.
“Officers responded promptly, attended the school, and located the suspect vehicle, which had struck another vehicle within the school parking lot,” said Nottawasaga OPP. “There were no injuries as a result of the collision.”
As a result of the investigation, the driver was placed under arrest and transported to the Nottawasaga Detachment.
Breath tests revealed a blood alcohol content four times over the legal limit.
A 36-year-old female from Tottenham was arrested and charged with Impaired Driving.
The female’s license was suspended for 90 days and her motor vehicle was impounded for seven days.
The accused was released and is scheduled to appear in the Bradford Ontario Court of Justice in April.
