OPP charge New Tecumseth man with sexual assault

Nottawasaga OPP has arrested and charged a New Tecumseth man in relation to a sexual assault that took place in a local Alliston business in January.
On Jan. 26, Nottawasaga OPP received information about a sexual assault that occurred in a downtown business in the area of Victoria Street and Paris Street, where an employee reported being sexually assaulted by a male who had entered the business.
The male began touching the victim inappropriately while soliciting sex.
Police subsequently retrieved video footage of the man and posted his photo online.
As a result, the suspect was identified and a 52-year-old man was arrested and charged with sexual assault.
