OPP investigates house fire in Alliston

The Nottawasaga Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police is investigating a residential fire in the Briar Hill subdivision of Alliston.
Members of the New Tecumseth Fire Department and police officers responded to a residential fire on Thursday, Feb. 12, 2026, shortly before 8:30 a.m., at Renaissance Point in Alliston.
One individual was located within the residence and transported to a local hospital for treatment.
There are no concerns for public safety at this time.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation by the Nottawasaga OPP with assistance from the Office of the Fire Marshal.
