The Tottenham-Beeton District Minor Softball Association (TBDMSA) celebrated a successful close to its highly anticipated Softball Pitching and Catching Clinic on Sunday, April 27.
To get ready for the season, 33 young athletes took part in the clinic to sharpen their skills to prepare for the upcoming softball season.
The clinic was held at the Tottenham Community Centre gym during April and led by Sasha Laroque. Laroque instructed participants through a dynamic series of drills and one-on-one training sessions.
Pitchers and catchers ranging in age from 8 to 19 worked on mechanics, technique, and strategy — all essential elements for excelling at their positions on the field.
“This clinic wasn’t just about learning new skills, it was about building confidence, encouraging leadership, and showing these young players what’s possible through hard work and passion,” said Sasha.
Parents and players praised the event for its organization, energy, and lasting impact.
Many expressed excitement for future clinics and camps hosted by the TBDMSA.
The organization would like to thank Sasha’s assistants, Jamie, Dan, and Lisa, for their hard work and dedication to support the athletes.
