If you are planning on going to Stevenson Memorial Hospital in Alliston over the next few weeks, you should consider parking options before you arrive.

There is construction activity on the hospital property taking place in preparation for the building of the new facility.

All activity is taking place outside of the hospital building and programs and services a running as normal.

However, there will be an increased volume of trucks in the main entrance parking lot. Personnel will be on hand to direct the trucks so that ambulances and other traffic can proceed safely.

Parking may be impacted as a result of the construction. Overflow parking is available along Fletcher Crescent just past the hospital.

If you plan on dropping off patients with mobility limitations, you may want to drop them off at the main entrance before proceeding to park to avoid a longer distance from the parking spot to the hospital entrance.

The hospital said it would like to thank visitors for their patience and understanding during the construction process.
